Silence The City - 'We Are The Voice'

Silence The City are back with another solid rock track.

Silence The City are back with another solid rock track, which has a deeper meaning, and a sound that doesn't apologise for being in your face.

Since gracing the rock stage back at Jim Beam Homegrown in 2015, they have only played a handful of shows, such as the NZ Tattoo Festival and for support for the mighty Sevendust.

Instead, the boys have been busy focusing their energy on writing and recording their debut full length album, and finding a common purpose in the music.

‘We Are The Voice’ was inspired by the conservation efforts to save the remaining 55 Maui dolphin that reside off the west coast of New Zealand, and aims to remind us that we must speak up for those that are unable to speak for themselves.

The idea to team up with Sea Shepherd for the accompanying music video was a logical one, and is at times difficult to watch, with graphic content taken from Sea Shepherds archives.

Silence The City are putting the finishing touches on their debut full-length record, and are getting back into the swing of gigging with a festival headline slot in New Caledonia (of all places), at the beginning of May.
