After an epic Round 1 in December, The D1NZ National Drifting Championship is reffing up to get underway for 2024!

Due to the increasing fire risk in the Nelson/Tasman region, the originally planned Round 2 of the D1NZ at Kohatu Drift Park will now be postponed to later in the year, and instead be a part of the 2025 season.

Hampton Downs will now be The Round 2 of the championship and Manfeild will become a doubleheader weekend in April, with an additional day added.

Round 2 is a dual event with the Super Sprint, with D1NZ taking the Club Circuit, and running in Reverse! It's also the Finale of the Super Sprint so a great day of action for everyone over the 3 days.

Round 3/4 will feature the D1NZ Pro Sport and Pro Championship, with qualifying on Friday and then competition rounds on both Saturday and Sunday. There are chances to meet the drivers all three days! Hospitality options such as the Paddock Club include visits from Pro drivers for a Q&A session, and a Pit Lane Tour during a lunchtime break

The D1NZ Championship Final will be at the Trustpower Baypark Stadium for The Grand Final of the 2024 championship in May.
