A cyclist who was photographed pulling the finger at US President Donald Trump has lost her job over the act.
The photo, showing Virginia woman Juli Briskman flipping off Mr Trump as she rode alongside him, went viral online after it was taken last week.
She told The Washington Post the gesture was a "spur of the moment decision" when she noticed Mr Trump was heading out to the golf course.
"My blood just started to boil," she said.
Ms Briskman, who was unaware the photo was being taken, notified her employer Akima LLC, a government marketing department right away.
But when she arrived at work, she was immediately walked from the building.
Ms Briskman says they fired her because the photo was a bad look for a government branch. Akima LLC was a contributor in Mr Trump's presidential campaign.
"Basically, you cannot have 'lewd' or 'obscene' things in your social media," she explained to the Washington Post. "So they were calling flipping him off 'obscene.'"
She's now calling out a double standard in her office, saying a colleague had called someone a "f**king libtard asshole" on Facebook earlier in the year.
"How is that fair?"
Ms Briskman says she has no regrets, and would do it again.
