An Aussie fisherman recently made an expensive mistake which has ended up costing him over $500 and a lot of embarrassment.
The bloke pulled into a Sydney 7-Eleven petrol station to fill up his boat, but instead of putting the gas in the tank, he fuelled it into his boat’s rod holder.
We don’t know what the guy was doing while the gas was going into the rod holder, because a video of the incident shows he clearly didn’t realise the mistake he had made until it was far too late.
The video shows gas gushing out of the boat like a waterfall as an onlooker says, “guys, don’t make this mistake ever.”
The end of the video reveals 231 litres of fuel was wasted, costing the fisherman a painful $536.76.
The video has since gone viral, being posted to popular fishing Facebook pages as well as other platforms like TikTok, where it currently has nearly 3 million views.
A classic case of all the gear, no idea.
