Dave Grohl lost his voice during a recent gig and as a result the Foos have had to reschedule two shows on their Concrete and Gold tour.
When the incident occured Grohl made a joke about Bono who had a similar problem.
Bono had to abandon a U2 concert after five songs because he’d lost his voice,
“After opening this leg of the tour Sept. 1 at Safeco Field in Seattle, Dave Grohl suffered a loss of voice and is now on vocal rest,”
the band said in a statement.
“That’s the last time I ever make out with Bono,” the frontman joked.
The shows affected are in Canada.
The show which finally cracked Grohl's voice was actually the same show that he invited former Nirvana bassist to the stage and the pair performed 'Molly's Lips' for the first time in years (along with the Foos).
