Forbes recently asked Dave Grohl if he were to return to his drumming roots, which band would he play for?
And our mates across the ditch came out on top.
That's right, if Dave Grohl was to drum for anyone, it'd be AC/DC.
Turns out the Foo Fighter's frontman is a big fan boy of their current drummer, Phil Rudd.
“AC/DC. That’s my last one, that’s it. Phil Rudd is back though. If you dive back into their back catalog, that early s**t, there was a little bit more dynamic, then they settled into the groove. That’s the thing. And it’s because of Phil Rudd. It’s AC/DC, but that guy holds the key.”
Now the cat's outta the bag, you know it's gotta happen. The Foo's will be hanging out backstage at an AC/DC show, like they tend to do with rock legends, Phil Rudd will go for a well timed piss break, and Angus will be welcoming ol' Grohl to the stage..
You can just see it.
Make it happen boys.
