Greta Van Fleet have used their debut appearance on Saturday Night Live to belt out a solid performance of 'Black Smoke Rising'.
The track from the band's first EP has been nominated for Best Rock Song at the Grammys in early February, so Greta's performance on SNL was a great opportunity to give the track more exposure ahead of the awards.
The performance has received a rave review from fans online, with many commenting on how far the band has come in such a short time. See the full performance bellow:
"A REAL rock band, still in their infancy, who are only going to get better and better. Realize how young they all are and you can appreciate them even more," wrote one fan.
"I legitimately stopped porn for this," wrote another - high praise indeed.
Unfortunately for Kiwis, Greta Van Fleet were forced to cancel their one and only upcoming show on local shores due to their multiple Grammy nominations. However the band have promised to make it up to us as soon as they can.
The band is also nominated for Best New Artist, Best Rock Performance ("Highway Tune") and Best Rock Album ("From the Fires").
After watching their performance on SNL, they might was as well give the band all four Grammys now.
