Dave Grohl and Billie Joe Armstrong are two of the many artists that performed a live living room concert from their homes over the weekend, to keep us all entertained during this shitty time.
Grohl prefaced his live stream by saying:
"To all the people out there on the front lines, who are doing all they can to get us through this, I hope you’re staying healthy. If you love someone let them know, if you’re thankful for someone, tell them."
He then went on to play the iconic “My Hero”, noting that the last verse is a goodie to wash your hands to.
Billie Joe Armstrong begun his performance with some similar words.
"I hope everybody’s happy and healthy, or trying to be as happy as possible. I know it’s a really stressful time. But I just wanna say it’s an honor to be playing for everybody right now."
Armstrong performed “Boulevard of Broken Dreams”.
We’re loving these livestream sessions! Metallica is live streaming full concerts each Monday on their YouTube and Facebook pages too.
Keep ‘em coming artists 🤘
