Eddie Vedder talks about his new album with Bruce Springsteen.

Pearl Jam front man Eddie Vedder and Bruce Springsteen met up to chat about a number of things, including Vedder’s new solo LP, Earthling, which dropped on February 11.

During the conversation, Springsteen asked Vedder about his musical influences, to which the Pearl Jam front man replied, “The stuff that got put in my blender, it started maybe, Jackson 5 when I was a kid and then [The] Beatles… growing up, and then The Who took over big time.”

Then Vedder added, “And then my friend,” nodding to Springsteen.

“Ah, Grazie,” Springsteen replied.

Vedder also added more influences: The Band, Split Ends and Talking Heads among others. It's a great chat between two good friends. Watch and listen below.
