LISTEN: Ozzy Osbourne drops new song ‘Nothing Feels Right’ featuring Zakk Wylde

Ozzy’s gone and dropped another tune off his forthcoming album, ‘Patient Number 9.’

Ozzy’s gone and dropped another tune off his forthcoming album, ‘Patient Number 9.’

The track, named ‘Nothing Feels Right’ is a collaboration with Black Label Society frontman and longtime Ozzy bandmate Zakk Wylde. It’s the third single from the forthcoming album, following the title track which features Jeff Beck on guitar, and the Tony Iommi collaboration ‘Degradation Rules.’

Wylde features on lead guitar on this track, as well as three others from the forthcoming album, ‘Parasite,’ Mr. Darkness,’ and ‘Evil Shuffle.’

In addition to Wylde, Beck and Iommi, the album will also feature Eric Clapton, Chad Smith, Robert Trujillo, Duff McKagan, Josh Homme and Mike McCready. Helluva line-up!

"It's pretty mind-blowing," Wylde told Consequence last year.

"If you would have told me when I was 14 years old in my bedroom practising that I was going to be on an album with Ozzy, Tony Iommi, Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck - like all my heroes - I would have told you, you know, forget about it."

The lyrics to ‘Nothing Feels Right’ hint towards Ozzy’s recent health issues, such as:

“Trapped inside this spider web / Scared of life and scared of death / Trapped inside these walls I built of doom, doom.”

But that didn’t stop Ozzy from giving an epic performance with his Black Sabbath bandmates at the Commonwealth Games last month.

Black Sabbath featured 15 times on The Rock 2000 Countdown last year, peaking at #18 with War Pigs. Ozzy himself featured 15 times aswell, peaking at #79 with Crazy Train. How many times will he place this year? Listen and track The Rock 2000 Countdown now

‘Patient Number 9’ drops this Friday, 9th September.
