DoorDash is now in Auckland and smoko's sussed cos they're doing half price orders

You'll also be chuffed to know there's no delivery fees for the first month.

DoorDash is offering their food delivery service to Aucklanders now, with an absolute smorgasbord of options available. To celebrate their launch in The City of Sails, they're offering some pretty sick discounts.

If you use the promo code 'KIAORA50' at checkout, you’ll get 50% off your first two orders up until the end of August so watch me use those up in one weekend.

There'll also be no delivery fees for the first month after making your account, which makes those guilty food orders slightly more justifiable, for the wallet anyway.

Over 1,000 eateries are getting involved with DoorDash in Auckland, including all the big-name fast food spots such as KFC, McDonald’s, Hell Pizza, etc. Tasty local spots like Daily Bread, Pizza Club, Wise Boys, and more are also available.

Rebecca Burrows, the company’s General Manager of New Zealand, Australia and Canada, says loads of eateries in Tāmaki Makaurau have been keen as to get involved with Door Dash.

“We’ve already been overwhelmed by the reception we’ve had from local restaurants, so cannot wait to help them deliver even more of their incredible food to Aucklanders across the city,” she says.

“We’re excited to continue connecting fantastic local restaurants with their customers from afar in Auckland and grow our coverage across the country to bring more to people’s doors.”

Wise Boys a vegan burger spot in Grey Lynn, is "stoked" to be on Door Dash if it means more Kiwis can try their food.

“By joining forces with DoorDash, we can get our delicious vegan burgers into the hands of even more people, furthering our mission to promote animal and planet-friendly food options,” Mitchell Baker, a spokesperson for the restaurant, says.

Everyone knows food tastes better when it's discounted, so you bet I'm gonna make the most of this.
