One of the iconic smoker brands The Green Egg has teamed up with beer brand Miller Lite to give us a big ol’ limited edition Green Egg Keg in America.
Dubbed the ‘Big Green Egg Miller Lite Kegg’, the vessel is built to look like the popular kamado grill - instead though, this bad boy will keep your tins cold rather than keeping your meat hot.
The keg notably won’t hold a full keg of beer though, but instead is a quarter barrel keg. To keep your cold ones cool, it allows you to just add ice in the ceramic chamber, and then drain the melted ice through the draft door.
“Beer and grilling are a natural pairing. What’s better than flipping a burger or smoking a brat with a beer in hand?,” said Anne Pando, Director of Marketing for Miller Lite said in a press release, The Ohio Egg Fest reports.
“That’s why we created the ultimate sidekick for your grill. While you’re grilling at the perfect heat, the Big Green Kegg keeps the great taste of Miller Lite ice cold so Griller Time always tastes like Miller Time.”
The limited edition kegs will be on sale from next Tuesday, but unfortunately aren’t available to buy in NZ. Although, Jay and Dunc are in Tennessee at the moment, suuurely they can pick one up for us white they’re over there.
Alternatively, if you’re reading this Green Egg and/or Miller Lite… I like beer… and would happily write another article in return for one of those kegs…
