It goes without saying, a lot of good, hard-working people in this country are doing it tough at the moment in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Thousands of jobs have been lost, and many workplaces are struggling to stay afloat and in business.
And it impacts everyone, whether you are sadly one of the people that have lost their income, if you're currently going through a restructure or facing job uncertainty, to even those whose jobs are secure but are dealing with survivor guilt and seeing their friends and family go through a tough time.
Here at The Rock, we've had to say goodbye to several of our friends, bloody talented individuals through no fault of their own have lost their jobs. And it sucks.
Rog, Bryce and Mulls wanted to have an open and honest chat on air about the stress and anxiety times like these can have on everyone, and that it is now more important than ever to remain in close contact with your friends, family and loved ones for support to get through these tough times.
If you are battling and struggling at the moment, please remember that you can text or call 1737 for help and support.
And you're always able to throw us a line on 0800 ROCK PHONE or 3520.
Take care of yourselves and each other, and just remember - tough times don't last forever, but tough people do.
