The Morning Rumble have recently discovered the social media user ‘Mr Methane,’ who claims he is the world’s ‘Only Performing Flatulist.’
Mr Methane posts videos to TikTok and other social media platforms of himself - and there’s no polite way to put this - farting into a microphone.
But they’re not your standard, run-of-the-mill farts. They’re long ones. Super long ones.
A listener sent in a video, filmed back in 2011, of Mr Methane claiming to be farting for the longest time in the world - an impressive 58 seconds. Yup, the video literally shows the bloke farting into a microphone for 58 seconds straight.
It’s important to note that we don’t believe this has been officially verified as a world record, but it’s an entertaining watch, if you’re into this sort of thing.
