Our mate Brad the Boss has had a helluva year.
Brad shocked us all with the news that he was diagnosed with throat cancer at the start of the year - but all throughout treatment, he remained a fucking legend.
Through multiple surgeries and hours of radiation, Brad just got on with it and did not complain once - he'd even show up to staff meetings after treatment, and genuinely inspired all of us here in The Rock office.
We know that there are countless kiwis out there who have been affected by cancer, so at Rock 2000 Live, we wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Brad and anyone else who has been affected by it.
Bryce took the stage at Spark Arena to share some heartfelt words for BK, before Jay and Dunc unveiled a limited edition, gold Mad Dog Club ring made especially for him - because we reckon he’s well and truly earned a spot in the club.
