Welcome to The Rumble World Cup at Eden Park!
We headed onto the field to give Rog, Bryce, Mulls and Mel a go at beating each other in dropkicks - plus we threw the producer's a bone, so Ryan and Mitch joined in too.
The rules:
All 6 kickers placed a kick from three different areas, as follows:
Position 1: directly in front of the posts
Position 2: on the 22 metre line
Position 3: on the 15 metre line on the left-hand side of the posts (determined as facing the posts)
Each kicker got one drop-kick at each position, and would only advance to the next round if they made the goal.
In a bizarre turn of events, Bryce and Producer Mitch were knocked out early in the comp, after they both missed the first kick. Absolutely humiliating stuff. Mel also got out in the first round - better luck next time sweets.
Mulls then got out at position 2, which left Producer Ryan and Rog competing against each other in the final kick.
And you wouldn’t bloody believe it - The Big Dog took out the win! Nobody had that on the cards. Good stuff Rogee.
