Watch the world's fastest lawnmower do 0-160km/h in 6 seconds

Good new Rog - here's a new way to hurt yourself with a mower...

Because why the f**k not, right?

Honda has just laid claim to building the world's fastest lawnmower because, apparently, that's a thing.

Dubbed the 'Mean Mower', the ride-on is powered by a 999cc four-cylinder engine taken from the company's CBR 1000RR superbike which pumps out 200bhp.

On Tuesday, the 'mower' completed a two-way, 0-160km/h (100mph) average of 6.29 seconds under the watch of Guinness World Records - making it officially the fastest lawnmover ever. To make it legit, the mower still has a cutting blade, so it could trim the laws... at 160km/h. And while they were the drag strip, Honda also set a new top speed record of 242.99km/h.

For those wondering how it would fair on a motorway on-ramp, it hits 0-100km/h in just over 3 seconds. For some context, that's faster than an Audi R8 or Ferrari Portofino, and twice as fast as a brand new Subaru WRX STI.

I think we found a new way for Rog to hurt himself with a lawnmower.
