Video games sure have come a long way since back in the day.

The Last Of Us Part II, the new sequel to the original 2013 PS3 survival horror game, allows players to play any song on guitar during the game.

The main character of the game, Ellie, is given a guitar and players can use the game controller to create a sequence of chords for her to play. So you could literally button-mash like a maniac to create some rubbish sound, or you could take iconic well known tracks and actually smash them out within game.

One user has done a cover of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters, as shown in the video above.

There have been many other covers, including Red Hot Chili Peppers, Soundgarden, Pink Floyd and more. Check out the video below for more of the songs.
