Korn team up with rapper Yelawolf to release cover of "The Devil Went Down To Georgia"

Get it in ya.

That is not a headline nor two artists we thought we'd expect to write, but we're not mad about it - this tune is pretty good.

Korn have unleashed a new cover of the Charlie Daniels Band's classic, "The Devil Went Down To Georgia", with rapper Yelawolf joining in on the vocals. And it's noticeably heavier and faster than the original.

Have a listen below.

Korn frontman Jonathan Davis says,

The release of the song is tied to the Awakening Youth foundation, an organisation that supports at-risk young men and women who have lost a parent by offering one-on-one individualised support. On ya lads.

The band further went on to state:

"We’re very excited to bring you our cover of the late, great Charlie Daniels’ infamous track, 'The Devil Went Down To Georgia'. Charlie left a musical legacy that goes beyond just one genre, and we want to honor his talent and influence with our own rendition of his song. It is available exclusively via Bandcamp, where 100 percent of all proceeds are being donated to the non-profit organization, Awakening Youth. Special thanks to our boy Yelawolf for jumping on the track with us."
