Netflix announce Ozark is coming back for it's fourth and final season

The final season will be split into two seven-episode parts.

Get ready Ozark fans, the show is officially coming back for one last season.

Netflix announced today that the hit show will be returning for it's fourth and final season which will split into two seven-episode parts.

Speaking of the new season, Jason Bateman, who plays Marty Byrde, said "A super-sized season means super-sized problems for the Byrdes. I’m excited to end with a bang(s)."

Executive producer and writer of the show Chris Mundy also shared his excitment for an extended final season.

"We’re so happy Netflix recognized the importance of giving Ozark more time to end the Byrdes’ saga right. It’s been such a great adventure for all of us — both on screen and off — so we’re thrilled to get the chance to bring it home in the most fulfilling way possible."

The release date for season four is yet to be announced but while we wait for that, you can go back and binge Ozark from the start on Netflix a few times over.
