Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at Wembley to include Liam Gallagher, Brian May and more

This looks like it could be an all-time send off for a legendary musician

The Foo Fighters are hosting a tribute concert for the late, great Taylor Hawkins at Wembley Stadium in London, featuring Liam Gallagher, Mark Ronson, Brian May, Joshua Homme, and loads more awesome acts.

They will also be hosting a concert at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles with a similarly sick lineup.

The iconic rock and roll band announced the concerts across social media last week, with the lineups coming out today.

Funds raised from the concerts will go towards charities picked by the Hawkins family.

It seems like it’s going to be a hell of a time at Wembley come the 3rd of September, with Oasis’ Liam Gallagher tweeting out that he can’t wait to “kick out the jams” for Hawkins.

A statement fitting for the legendary Hawkins was released on the Foo Fighters’ website to further explain the tribute concerts.

“Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear and Rami Jaffee will come together with the Hawkins family to celebrate the life, music and love of their husband, father, brother and bandmate with The Taylor Hawkins Tribute Concerts,” the statement says.

It continues, “millions mourned his untimely passing on March 25, with passionate and sincere tributes coming from fans as well as musicians Taylor idolised.”

“As a member of Foo Fighters, Taylor was a 15-time GRAMMY Award winner and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame."

The statement concludes with a succinct summary of the all-time great drummer:
