The upcoming Beavis and Butt-Head reboot series is on its way!

Our two favourite cartoon idiots will return to our screens on Paramount+ later this year, following the release of their recent spioff film, Beavis & Butt-Head Do the Universe.

Paramount Pictures have recently dropped the trailer, check it out below.

The official synopsis tells us that the iconic animated duo "are back and dumber than ever!"

The '90s pop-culture phenomenons "return to confound common sense, torment each other, and showcase some of the dumbest comedy imaginable," it explains.

Writer, producer and director of the show Mike Judge is responsible for this reboot too, and is still voicing the characters. As one person pointed out on the comments of the trailer, "Mike Judge doesn't miss a beat."

Discussing the return of the show, Judge told Consequence: “It’s harder than it looks to write Beavis and Butt-Head because they’re so dumb. They can’t figure stuff out. Things sort of have to happen to them...

"..But I think I’m pretty happy with the way we brought them into the future."

Mike Judge's Beavis and Butthead drops on Paramount+ on August 4.

Once you've watched that, you can look forward to the over 200 remastered episodes of the original Beavis And Butt-Head series that will also soon be available through Paramount+.
