WATCH: Tom Hardy makes army vet tap out and won two gold medals at a jiu-jitsu tournament

"Tom Hardy out here ripping people's arms and legs off"

Think you misread that headline? You didn't.

Hollywood action star Tom Hardy - you will know him from The Dark Knight Rises and Peaky Blinders - has won two gold medals at a charity jiu-jitsu tournament.

In a series of videos shared on TikTok by Jiu-Jitsu Geoff, the 44-year-old actor can be seen expertly taking down his opponents, making his fellow semi-finalist (40-year-old army vet, Danny Appleton) tap out after placing him in an arm bar.

Appleton said he had to 'tap out' before his arm was broken.

A second video shows Hardy in "dominating" another match, and taking double gold at the REORG Open. Jiu-Jitsu Geoff posted the below video and jokingly captioned, "Tom Hardy out here ripping people's arms and legs off."

This lad, what the hell. Not only is he a handsome motherfucker, wildly successful in his profession as an actor, universally praised for his love of dogs - the man is also a walking weapon.

Sometimes, shit just ain't fair in life.

As reported by Bang Showbiz, the 44-year-old actor is a keen fan of combat sports and martial arts after having trained in MMA for his 2011 film 'Warrior' and believed to be ranked as a blue belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

The jiu-jitsu tournament was hosted by REORG - a charity which teaches Brazilian jiu-jitsu to frontline military or emergency personnel who have suffered serious injuries, or those battling post-traumatic stress disorder.
