Marriage marks the end of single life - and this bloke decided to really lean into it.
A TikTok has gone viral of a groom being carried down the aisle in a coffin on his wedding day, and the internet isn't happy about it.
The TikTok, which was uploaded by the user @tobz88 and has racked up 2.8 million views, shows a coffin being pulled out of a hearse, before the wedding party carries the groom down the aisle as guests watch.
When he gets to the end of the aisle, the wedding party unlock the coffin and stand in front of him as he takes himself out of the coffin. The text on the video says, “Is this a funeral?? No, this is how my friend decided to walk down the aisle.”
It’s not clear whether the bride-to-be, who wasn’t in the video, knew about the coffin entrance, but boy you’d hope she did.
Some people have seen the funny side of the ordeal, but most people are just down right confused and embarrassed for the bloke, his fiance, and the wedding guests.
One person commented, “The ones carrying [the coffin] are embarrassed.”
Another commented, “I’d be at the bar already drinking and trying to figure out how to make different friends.”
While a third commented, “My question is why?”
