Whatever you were doing for New Years, we hope it was better than having to witness what Brad the Boss did at the end of 2020.
Brad headed to The Feelers gig at the Coroglen Tavern on New Years Eve, and was hanging side of stage as the band went into their encore song.
Speaking to The Morning Rumble at the start of last year, Brad said, “I saw an opening. I saw a microphone on stage, and I’m a huge Pearl Jam fan, and I didn’t realise they were playing ‘Black’.
“And then when they started playing it, I thought shit, this is my cue.”
As soon as Brad heard the opening guitar intro, he made his way onto stage and proceeded to take on lead vocals.
Let’s be clear - nobody asked Brad to do that. Not the band, not the manager, not anyone. The geezer just jumped on stage and started singing. And stayed there for the full song.
As he wrapped up onstage, he yelled, “let’s hear it for The-fucking-Feelers!”
