The first full-length trailer for The Mandalorian season three has dropped, and it looks like it’s gonna be another epic season. Have a watch above.

The third season for the Star Wars spin-off continues on from the events in the 2021 series The Book Of Boba Fett, where the Mandalorian made an appearance.

In the upcoming season, Din Djarin and Grogu are headed to Mandalore so Din can attempt to redeem himself for his ‘transgression’ of removing his helmet and revealing his face.

The trailer shows Din teaming up with his fellow Mandalorians to take part in the upcoming battle for Mandalore, while it appears Grogu is encouraged to explore the defensive side of his Force capabilities.

The official synopsis of the season states:

“The journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history.

“The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.”

The upcoming season will feature 8 episodes, and will be available on Disney+ on March 1st, 2023.

2023 is shaping up to be a big ol’ year for Pedro Pascal, who plays the titular character in The Mandalorian. He’s starring in The Last of Us, the new and already very-popular Zombie-survival show adapted from the eponymous video game.
