KFC drop limited edition summer merch to raise money for Surf Life Saving

100% of the proceeds from the sale of the merchandise going to Surf Life Saving.

KFC have dropped some summer merch, and Mulls couldn’t be happier.

The iconic fast food chain is back with the ‘KFC for Good’ Foundation after releasing their mid-Winter Christmas merch to help fundraise for mental well-being.

This time around, 100% of all the money made from merch sales will go towards Surf Life Saving New Zealand (SLSNZ).

The collection includes a classic Hawaiian shirt, featuring all things KFC, along with fresh summer must-haves, like the iconic pair of Kiwi slides, towelling bucket hats, KFC sunglasses and more.

The collection also features a KFC-branded Surfboard, live on auction now.

KFC for Good’s mission is to “champion causes that equip young Kiwi adults with skills and support to enhance their wellbeing” they said in a press release.

SLSNZ is a charity and the national association representing 74 Surf Life Saving Clubs across Aotearoa, and over 4500 volunteer Surf Lifeguards who patrol at 92 locations through summer as well as 40 Emergency Call Out Squads throughout the year.

By the end of summer, KFC intends to reach a total donation of over $150,000 from their summer merch and their efforts at the ‘Black Clash’ cricket match back in January - that’s an epic amount of money raised by us Kiwis for SLSNZ.
