A few weeks after dropping their new tune ‘Screaming Suicide,’ Metallica have shared a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the music video.
The song itself addresses the taboo world of suicide, with the lyrics seemingly written from ‘suicide’s’ perspective.
The behind-the-scenes look gives an insight into the focus that went into making the music video, but also shows the lighter side of some of the members of the band.
"For this video, we want to be a little different than the last one," director Tim Saccenti is seen telling Lars Ulrich. "It's a little less like stadium projection. A little more internal. Playing to yourself."
Ulrich admits he’s only been playing the song to himself for the last few weeks, and Saccenti responds, “that’s kind of the vibe.”
Check out the behind-the-scenes vid up top.
