Foo Fighters are teasing something and fans are freaking out

All official Foo Fighters social media acounts are teasing something...

Foo Fighters have shared a teaser clip on their social media, and fans are losing their shit.

This morning (13 April), the official Foo Fighters accounts posted a 13-second-clip with a white background and faint grey text that reads ‘Are you thinking what I’m thinking?’, along with a snippet of audio playing underneath.

While we’re not 100% sure what this post is teasing, a lot of fans reckon they could be announcing a tour. How good would that be?

The band have announced new shows over the past few weeks, and are already set with 25 performances scheduled for 2023, with a mix of festival performances and headlining shows across the US, Europe, Japan, Canada, Brazil and Germany.

Other fans reckon the clip could be announcing new music. This is also a valid possibility - the band did share in a statement in January assuring fans they would continue on as a band, plus it’s been a couple of years since Medicine at Midnight came out.

In another theory, some fans are wondering if the band could be teasing the announcement of their replacement drummer, following the tragic loss of Taylor Hawkins

Some fans have pointed out that the clip sounds like Grohl on drums, while others are wondering how much music Hawkins may’ve recorded before he passed, and wondering if it could be him on the track.

Reddit Comment

It still hasn’t been announced who will replace the late, great Hawkins on drums for their upcoming shows. Rumours were circulating for a while that it could be Pearl Jam and Soundgarden drummer Matt Cameron, but the drummer denied those claims on social media last month.

To be clear, we have no idea what this tease clip means, but shiiit we’re excited to find out.
