Trailer for John Wick spinoff ‘The Continental’ is here

The three-part-series will explore the origin story behind the titular hotel-for-assassins, through the eyes of a young Winston Scott.

It’s only been a few weeks since the latest John Wick movie was released, and we’ve already got more from the John Wick world on the way - yes boyyy!

Peacock have just released the very first official trailer for the upcoming prequel series, The Continental: From the world of John Wick.

The three-part-series will explore the origin story behind the titular hotel-for-assassins, through the eyes of a young Winston Scott in 1970’s New York City to “face the past he thought he had left behind.”

“Winston charts a deadly course through the hotel’s mysterious underworld in a harrowing attempt to seize the hotel where he will eventually take his future throne,” an official description reads.

The trailer flicks between shots inside the hotel, and outside in ‘70s New York. It looks like there’s some colourful characters in the show - including gangsters and twin assassins. Plus, in true John Wick style, there’s gonna be lots of guns and violence.

As reported by Rotten Tomatoes, The Continental stars Mel Gibson (Cormac), Colin Woodell (Winston Scott), Mishel Prada (KD), Ben Robson (Frankie), Hubert Point-Du Jour (Miles), Nhung Kate (Yen), Jessica Allain (Lou), Ayomide Adegun (Charon), Jeremy Bobb (Mayhew), and Peter Greene (Uncle Charlie).

We, like many fans, are excited to watch this, and we bloody hope they do it justice.

‘Check in’ for The Continental: From the world of John Wick is all going down this September on Peacock. Have a watch of the trailer up top, and check out some fan reactions below.
