Dave Grohl harmonizes with his daughter Violet on Foo Fighters new track 'Show Me How'

The latest song is a Grohl family affair.

Foo Fighters have released the third track from their forthcoming album But Here We Are - and this one features a very special guest singer.

The new song, titled ‘Show Me How,’ has additional harmonies from Grohl’s eldest daughter Violet, which adds a dreamy layer to the moody track.

The song definitely got me in the feels, with its melodic, ethereal tune and lyrics that reference grappling with the loss of a loved one. Knowing that the album is dedicated to Taylor Hawkins and Grohl’s mum who passed away the same year makes the song that much more powerful and heartbreaking.

The band said the forthcoming album is a “brutally honest and emotionally raw response to everything Foo Fighters endured over the last year,” a press release states.

But Here We Are is a testament to the healing powers of music, friendship and family."

Described as “courageous, damaged and unflinchingly authentic," the new album promises to "run the emotional gamut from rage and sorrow to serenity and acceptance, and myriad points in between."

‘Show Me How’ follows the previously released ‘Rescued’ and ‘Under You,’ with the full album arriving on June 2 - have a watch of the 'Show Me How' music video up top.
