Michael Bublé joins Foo Fighters onstage to perform ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’

We didn’t have a Foo Fighters x Michael Buble performance on the cards for 2023, but here we are.

We didn’t have a Foo Fighters x Michael Buble performance on the cards for 2023, but here we are.

The Foo’s were headlining the music festival Outside Lands in San Francisco over the weekend, when Grohl spotted a “superfan” in the crowd holding a sign that read “I [heart] Bublé,” which just so happened to be the Canadian singer himself.

Dave quipped: “This motherfucker better know the song."

He later joked: “We’ve been doing that thing where people from the audience come up and say ‘I know that fuckin song,’ and they walk up and they know the first verse, they don’t know it.

“So this badass motherfucker — and I’m not even kidding — flew in today from Argentina to fuckin’ sing that song to you guys. Because there’s no such thing as taking a joke too far.”

Bublé then heads up to the stage to perform his hit ‘Haven’t Met You Yet’ with the band. Grohl can be seen off to the side, bopping with a bottle of wine in hand, and steps in on vocals on the final line of the song.

At a couple of points during the performance, Bublé chucks up a devil-horns gesture to really get into the vibes.

Personally, I’m into the Fooblé performance, and it seems the crowd were pretty happy too. One person commented on fan-shot-footage uploaded to YouTube, “no rock crowd is too proud for Bublé.”

Another commented, “So much respect for artists from different genres just enjoying each other's music and their craft. As a fan from both Foo Fighters and Michael Bublé, this would be so cool to see live!”

But also, another elegantly commented, “Bublé sucks” - which is also a valid response. To each their own!
