All Blacks future coach Scott Robertson 'Not Allowed' at NZ's RWC games for a bloody odd reason

Justin Marshall shared the details.

Scott (Razor) Robertson, the man, the myth, the LEGEND who's lined up to be the next All Blacks coach, has been booted from attending his future team’s Rugby World Cup games in France for a ridonkulous reason.

Scotty R was recently spotted at the England vs. Argentina clash in Pool D. No biggie, right? Wrong! According to his former teammate Justin Marshall, Scott's been handed a big ol' 'do no disturb' sign when it comes to showing up for the AB's games.

Why, you ask? Well, during a chat on South Africa’s SuperSport panel, Marshall said it was all about keeping distractions at bay for the boys in black.

Razor is a bloody legend after being a superstar coach for the Canterbury Crusaders, and the powers that be (Ian Foster) believe that he’ll be too magnetic for the players.

Justin told former Springbok Schalk Burger: “He’s not allowed to be at All Blacks games… All of a sudden, they might want to chat to him or might want to impress him, so Ian Foster said to him he’s not being allowed at All Blacks games."

But don't feel too bad for Scotty. He's still got his front-row seat to all the rugby action in France, just not when the All Blacks are on the ball.

Robertson’s record running the ‘Saders has been undeniable. He’s won six consecutive Super Rugby Titles, and the Canterbury team has always had a target on their back as the team to beat.

“It’s an honour to be named as the next All Blacks head coach,” Robertson said at the press conference at NZ Rugby HQ in Wellington.

“IT’S A JOB THAT COMES WITH A HUGE AMOUNT OF RESPONSIBILITY, BUT I’M EXCITED BY THE OPPORTUNITY TO MAKE A CONTRIBUTION TO THE LEGACY OF THE BLACK JERSEY.”

“To represent your country as a coach or player is the ultimate honour in sport, and it’s humbling to be given that opportunity. I can’t wait.”
