Frances Bean, the daughter of the late rock legend Kurt Cobain, has officially married Riley Hawk, the son of iconic skateboarder Tony Hawk.
It was confirmed that the two were dating at the start of last year (2022), after Frances began posting photos of them on social media - although it’s reported that they’ve been dating since at least January 2021.
Fans, especially those who are fans of their parents - were stoked to hear about the happy couple.
“Daughter of the most nineties dude ever is dating the son of the second most nineties dude ever,” one person commented at the time.
Now it’s been confirmed by TMZ that the 31-year-old daughter of Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love tied the knot with the 30-year-old skateboarder, who’s followed in his dad’s footsteps, on October 7th in a private ceremony in LA.
Frances’ godfather, who also happens to be R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, reportedly officiated the ceremony.
Frances, who is a visual artist and model, is the only child of the Nirvana frontman and the former Hole frontwoman.
Boy, if these two choose to have kids, those kids are gonna have some pretty iconic grandparents on both sides of the family. Congrats to the happy couple!
