Watch Eddie Vedder & Post Malone perform ‘Better Man’ and Tom Petty's 'I Won't Back Down'

Eddie Vedder was joined on stage by Post Malone on Saturday night, to perform Pearl Jam’s ‘Better Man’ and Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down’ in an acoustic set.

Both singers were at the Reportin’ for Duty benefit concert in Tennessee on Saturday, which is an event launched in memory of the comedian and actor Leslie Jordan. The money raised from the event is put into EB Research Partnership - an organisation launched by Vedder and his wife Jill to help fund research into the treatment of the rare genetic disease Epidermolysis Bullosa.

Vedder and Post Malone sat onstage on two bar stools with their acoustic guitars and sang Pearl Jam’s ‘Better Man’ and Tom Petty’s ‘I Won’t Back Down.’ Check out fan-shot-footage below.

It’s no secret that despite Post Malone finding success in pop-rap music, he’s always been a big fan of rock, metal, and grunge.

In the past, Post Malone has covered Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Sublime, and Alice in Chains, has performed with the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, and of course opened for Red Hot Chili Peppers in January last year.

It would’ve been epic for Posty to perform alongside one of his idols, and it’s pretty cool to watch.

Plus, watching this just gets us even more excited to see Pearl Jam live in New Zealand in November this year.
