WATCH: 'Stranger Things' actor Joseph Quinn jams with Metallica

Quinn met up with Metallica at Lollapalooza over the weekend.

This is pretty cool to see.

'Stranger Things' actor Joseph Quinn, who plays metal-head Eddie Munson in the latest season of the Netflix show, has become an honorary Metallica member.

The latest season of Stranger Things famously used Metallica's track 'Master of Puppets,' in the pivotal scene while Eddie and other characters prepare to fight Vecna.

Quinn met up with Metallica at Lollapalooza over the weekend, and finally got to jam the 1986 thrash-metal-track with them.

In a video uploaded to Netflix and Quinn's social media pages, we see the actor meet the band, sit down for a chat with them, and jam out in their green room.

When Quinn asks the band if they're a fan of the show, frontman James Hetfield replies:

"I'm a big fan of it, have been since Season 1. My kids and I, it's been a bonding experience for us."

The actor thanks the band for letting the show use the track, to which Hetfield responds, "Thanks for doing it justice by the way."

The actor also mentioned that he listened to the track for two years while preparing to shoot the show, adding: "I feel very connected to you guys."

After impressing the band with the jam session, Quinn then recieves a replica BC Rich NJ series Warlock guitar, signed by the band, with Eddie's Hellfire Club logo inside the case.

Pretty much - the actor is living out every metal-kid's dream.

The video ends with footage of Metallica's performance at Lollapalooza, where they projected the scene of Eddie shredding his guitar in the Upside Down on the back screens.

Metallica's set at the festival saw a heap of new, young fans. According to LoudWire, Hetfield asked the crowd how many people were seeing them for the first time, to which a sea of hands went flying up.

Metallica have previously said, "EVERYONE is welcome in the Metallica Family. Whether you’ve been a fan for 40 hours or 40 years, we all share a bond through music. All of you started at ground zero at one point in time.”
