Dave Grohl is the latest rocker to get the viral-TikTok-treatment.
A new trend has emerged on the video-sharing app, where drummers are playing Grohl's unforgettable drum intro from Queens of the Stone Age’s ‘Song for the Dead.’
Videos of people covering the drum intro have been uploaded to the app more and more over the last couple of months, causing the song and trend to have a bit of a viral moment, more than two decades since its release. Many are hailing the intro "the best drum intro ever created."
Grohl isn’t the only rock musician to get the viral-TikTok-treatment lately. Nickelback’s 2014 song ‘She Keeps Me Up’ is also going viral on the app, thanks to people making thirst-traps to the tune.
