The new Blink-182 album will be done this week, according to Travis Barker

Travis Barker has revealed that Blink-182’s new album will be finished this week, before they head off on tour.

Travis Barker has revealed that Blink-182’s new album will be finished this week, before they head off on tour.

The drummer took to twitter earlier this week to share a short and sweet sentence about the previously announced 2023 album, which was prefaced with their single ‘Edging’ in October last year.

“Album will be finished before we leave on tour,” Barker’s tweet read.

The newly reformed Blink-182 boys kick off their tour on May 4th in North America, after postponing the South American run earlier this year due to Barker’s injured hand.

That means their first performance of the tour is tomorrow - so if Barker’s tweet is true, the album should almost be fully complete now.  How good.

The boys played their first reunion show at Coachella last month, marking their first public performance together since 2014. The 18-song-set had classics like ‘What’s My Age Again?’, ‘I Miss You’ and ‘All The Small Things,’ plus the band performed their latest single ‘EDGING’ for the first time ever.

Tom DeLonge has said the forthcoming album contains some of “the most progressive” music of the band’s career, adding it’s “the best album we’ve ever made.”
