AC/DC are teasing a big announcement & fans reckon it’s a world tour

We're certainly ready.

AC/DC are teasing a big announcement… Could it be a return to touring?

The band took to social media last night (February 6) to share a cryptic teaser clip that’s gotten fans excited.

The clip shows their iconic lightning bolt symbol flickering against a black background, before the words ‘ARE YOU READY’ flashes onto the screen. Then their 1990 tune of the same name begins to play while the band’s logo appears.

Fans are pumped, and plenty are wondering if they’re announcing a new album, but it looks like even more fans think it could be a world tour.

“Let there be tour!” one fan wrote.

While a less-sure fan wrote, “I have no idea what it’s asking me if I’m ready for… but whatever it is the answer is a definite yes!!!”

A bunch of other fans have flocked to the comments to write the country they’re keen the band to come to.

We have high hopes it could be a world tour. In fact, there’s been speculation of a European tour going on since last year, when the Mayor of Munich Dieter Reiter accidentally revealed that the band would be performing there on 12th June this year.

Apparently after spilling the news, he said in a city council meeting “I didn’t know it was supposed to be a secret,” Planet Radio reports.

If the rumours are true, we’re crossing our fingers that the lads will stop off in NZ too. It’d be their first time performing over here since 2015, when they were on their ‘Rock or Bust’ tour, which was bloody epic.

It’d also mark their first performances since PowerTrip Fest, which all went down in October last year at California’s Empire Polo Club.

Here’s hoping AC/DC will share some more info about what they’re teasing soon. We’re certainly ready.
