It’s confirmed! Metallica, AC/DC, Tool, GnR, Iron Maiden and Ozzy Osbourne are all locked in to headline Power Trip festival in California this October.
What. A. Line up.
The bands and Ozzy all teased the festival on their social media accounts earlier in the week and now it’s been officially confirmed - and you can even register for first access tickets now.
The first night of the festival will see Guns N’ Roses and Iron Maiden take the stage; the second night will see AC/DC and Ozzy Osbourne, while Metallica and Tool will close the festival on the Sunday night.
It’s all going down at Empire Polo Club in Indio, the same place that Coachella happens.
The festival will be a notable return to the stage for Ozzy, who earlier this year announced he was retiring from touring while he still recovers from surgeries, but still left the door open for one off performances.
It would also be AC/DC’s first time performing live since 2016, after their latest tour in support of their album Power Up was cancelled due to the pandemic.
Metallica, Guns N’ Roses, Tool and Iron Maiden have still been touring over the last few years.
If you’re keen to make the trip to the US, check out all of the ticketing info here.
It’s gonna be absolutely unreal.
CC: Brad the Boss, this is my official notice that I’ll be taking some time off in October.
