WATCH: 'Stranger Things' actor Joseph Quinn practices 'Master of Puppets'

Quinn worked hard to master the fretwork and learnt how to play the solo himself.

This is pretty sick.

A video has emerged of Joseph Quinn, who plays Eddie Munson on the latest season of 'Stranger Things,' practicing what would become the most iconic scene to emerge out of the season.

We're sure by now you must've seen the epic scene where misunderstood-metalhead Eddie shredds the Metallica track on his Warlock guitar in the 'Upside Down', while preparing to fight the evil Vecna.

Even if you don't watch the show, the scene is pretty badass, and Metallica themselves are fizzing with how the it turned out

What makes it even more epic, is that in this new clip, we see that Quinn worked hard to master the fretwork and learnt how to play the solo himself.

Speaking to ET about how much of the performance was him actually playing, he said "It's pretty much all of me."

"I was lucky that I kind of I've played guitar since I was quite young so I had kind of the foundations to take most of it," he explained.

"It's great fun, you know, who wouldn't wanna kind of be a rock star for an afternoon or an evening?"

Considering a lot of actors would just get a stunt double to play for them, Quinn has earnt our respect for actually learning the thrash metal classic.

Have a watch of Quinn rehearsing the solo below.

Meanwhile, Metallica are still riding the lightning of it all. See what we did there?

'Master of Puppets' is back in the top 50 for many places around the world, sitting at #15 on NZ Spotify, and Metallica are stoked about their new fans as a result from the show.

On Friday, the band shared a clip of them playing the track, alongside the scene, while they wear Hellfire Club shirts - a nod to the Dungeons and Dragons club that Eddie lead on the show.

"Eddie, this is for you!" the caption reads.

The band have also been very vocal about their fandom not being exclusive, and that all are welcome in it.

Recently a fan commented on their video, "I’m sorry Metallica for all the fake Stranger Things fans love ya."

To which Metallica responded:

"Don’t be sorry. Everyone is welcome in the Metallica Family. If they like ‘Puppets,’ chances are they’ll find plenty of other songs to get into."

Later adding, “FYI – EVERYONE is welcome in the Metallica Family. Whether you’ve been a fan for 40 hours or 40 years, we all share a bond through music. All of you started at ground zero at one point in time.”

How good.
