Keen to be one of the first in the world to hear Metallica’s upcoming album?
The metal titans have announced a global premiere for their forthcoming album ‘72 Seasons,’ where fans around the world will be able to listen to the album in full a day ahead of its release.
The global listening party is set to be aired in surround sound exclusively in cinemas worldwide, with each song featuring an accompanying music video and commentary from the band.
Since we’re in NZ, we’ll be the first fans in the world to hear new Metallica. How good.
“Be the first to hear the band’s new album, 72 Seasons, the day before its release, on the big screen with pummeling surround sound in this special event exclusively in cinemas for one night only,” an official press release reads.
The global premiere will also feature “exclusive interviews with Metallica, with the full band delving into the origins and stories behind the songs and accompanying music videos for every track on the album.”
It'll be held on Thursday April 13th, with the album dropping the following day on the 14th.
