WATCH: Black Sabbath just closed the 2022 Commonwealth Games!

It's the first time Black Sabbath have played together since February 2017.

Here's something we didn't have on the cards for today - Black Sabbath just closed the 2022 Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony!

The closing ceremony went down in Birmingham tonight at Alexander Stadium with a line up of UK artists, including UB40, Beverley Knight, Jorja Smith and more.

Right at the end of the ceremony, to everyone's surprise, the intro to 'Iron Man' begins to play, while The Prince of Darkness is heard saying "I am Iron Man!" from offstage.

Ozzy makes his way onstage, as well as guitarist Tony Iommi, bassist Adam Wakeman and drummer Tommy Clufetos.

Then they rip into the heavy metal band's classic, 'Paranoid' to the crowd of 30,000.

The performance marks the first time Black Sabbath have played together onstage since their 'final show ever' in February 2017. It also marks Ozzy's first performance in nearly three years, and the first since undergoing a major surgery earlier in the year.

What a treat!
