Long-time Guns N’ Roses stage tech leaks big news about what fans could expect ‘any day now'

Huge.

Guns N’ Roses fans can get their hopes up as a source very close to the band revealed there is new music coming very soon.

Tom Mayhue has been a stage technician for Axl Rose and the boys for over thirty years. In videos shared by a fan on Facebook, Mayhue told a group of people that GNR have been working on some new songs and plan to drop them sooner rather than later.

“So I've been with the band forever,” he said to start. “We're just getting ready to finish up this portion of our Guns N' Roses European tour and I know that the band’s gonna start working on new music, they’ve got a bunch of stuff recorded already.”

“So there will be new Guns N’ Roses music very soon. In fact, I think they’re trying to get a single out any day now, so you may hear something very, very soon.”

Last month the rumour mill started churning after a studio in Norway posted then deleted a photo of Axl and Slash with a caption saying the fellas had been getting to work.

“The band wanted a nice studio with a variety of speakers and headphones to listen to new mixes before they head for Glastonbury,” Urban Sound Studios wrote. “Btw, it sounds awesome!!”

If they do drop some new tunes, it would be the first new music the band has released since coming out with the singles ‘Absurd’ and ‘Hard Skool’ back in 2021.

Duff McKagan, the band’s bassist, released new music of his own recently. He released an EP called ‘This is the Song,’ in which he opens up about his battle with panic disorder.

The three-song-EP includes a title track, and two other songs, ‘Pass You By’ and ‘It Can’t Come Too Soon.’

Here’s hoping GNR drop some classic tunes in the foreseeable future.
